▣ Amy Sweet, MHS, PA-C – CEO
I am a licensed physician assistant who started my medical career as a home health aide in Massachusetts, on Nantucket Island. I graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a B.S. degree in Nutrition Science and Pre-Med. I worked as restaurant manager for a small, exclusive resort in Napa Valley before going back to school for a master’s degree and my physician assistant degree from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. I practiced gynecologic oncology first at Texas Oncology at Baylor University in Dallas, Texas, and then with Southwest Regional Cancer Center in Austin, Texas. I became passionate about palliative care and hospice services and utilized them frequently with patients when needed during this time.
I saw how I could improve a patient’s quality of life through better communication, focusing on the patient’s symptoms and desires, and how important a quality team/community was to help a patient enjoy life to the fullest every day. I am inspired daily by our hospice services, and how we impact lives so significantly in such a short time relative to a lifetime. I believe each patient becomes an extension of our lives, our work family, and we treat each person as if they were part of our family. I strive to lead our team in quality clinical care, excellent customer service, and in continued awe of what a special role we play in the lives of those we serve.
I have experience with alternative and functional medicine, and believe in the fusion of multiple therapeutic and spiritual modalities to treat a person completely. I love nature, horseback riding, hiking, healthy delicious food, and traveling. I am a past-president of the Central Texas Physician Assistant Society, a former member of the Austin Junior League and Dallas Junior League. I am married to Scott, the best husband I could ever dream of having, and have three children, Nick, Siena and Rowan.
▣ Diane Hadley – RN
My name is Diane Hadley. I graduated with a BSN from UT at Austin School of Nursing in 1995. I began my nursing career at St. David’s hospital where I worked on the med/surg floor for four years. I then took a job at Girling Healthcare as an intake nurse for home health. I was at Girling for 13 years working my way up from intake nurse to case manager to Assistant Director to Director of Patient Care. I then worked at Guardian Home Health as Director for 2 years. I came to Halcyon Home in September of 2014. I am currently the Director of Clinical Services. I have loved taking care of the elderly over the years. I am proud of the excellent staff we have built at Halcyon Home and am excited for the growth of this company.
I have been married for 20 years to Lance and we have a son Benjamin and a daughter Samantha. We have a dog and two cats. Our family loves kayaking and camping together and we are outside in nature every chance we get!
▣ Marlo Marion – Nursing Facility Administrator
Marlo joined the Halcyon Home team with over a decade of healthcare experience in tow, ready to enrich our culture and our processes. Her Medicare and Medicaid regulatory experience extends far beyond home services as she is a Licensed Nursing Facility Administrator. Marlo began her career in hospice, directing marketing processes for local growth in the east Texas regions. After working in hospice for seven years she pursued her LNFA and worked as a building Administrator for six years. She joined Halcyon Home as our Administrator and will guide our growth and adherence to our mission to bring the most exceptional care to the homes of our patients and clients.

▣ Megan Bass – Director of Marketing
Megan Bass graduated from University of Texas at Austin with a BS in Education and History. Megan is an integral part of the Halcyon Home team due to her work experience in marketing and senior living care. She was on the ground floor of the development and pre-marketing of Querencia at Barton Creek, a continuous care community in Austin, TX. While at Querencia she worked in several key areas: sales, organizational planning and move-in coordination of the community. It is with this background that Megan comes to Halcyon Home to promote in-home care and concierge services to all ages. Megan has a wonderful eye for detail and making spaces beautiful. She loves tennis, walking the lake, and reading. Megan is married to another UT graduate, Hutch Bass, and has three children.

▣ Isa Z – On-Call Coordinator, Scheduler
Isa has worked at Halcyon Home since January of 2015. She is the weekend on-call coordinator, and scheduler. She has undergraduate degrees in French and Veterinary Medicine. Isa was previously a nanny and a veterinary surgical technician but decided to pursue working with the elderly after her grandmother passed away. Isa loves embroidery, cooking and hiking in America’s many National Parks.
