Let us do the tedious things, so that you can have time for the really important things.
To our team personal care means just that: care that is personal to you and your needs. We listen to what is best for you. This is a process that doesn’t always start overnight. Let us have that conversation with you or your loved one. We are extremely flexible, and want to do what’s best for you, from one hour at a time, to 24/7 care. Here are some of the things that we offer so that you can relax, knowing you are in the best hands possible.
▣ Bathing and Grooming
To us, this is where having the right person can mean everything. We know it’s very personal to be caring for someone’s daily needs, and we want to make sure it’s the right fit. We do all we can to make sure the experience is a pleasant one, with a focus on safety and comfort.
▣ Medication Reminders
So many diseases and medical complications can be prevented by medication compliance. We can assist you with reminders, charting, and watching for side effects.
▣ Preparing Meals
We can develop a healthy meal plan, with the help of dietitians if needed. We can grocery shop, make your favorite recipes, and ensure that you are eating a proper diet. Or we’ll just make some cookies so that your house smells yummy!
▣ Hair Care
Here is another area where we think out of the box — we can even have a hair dresser come to you!
▣ Light Housekeeping
Everyone knows you can’t really relax when your home is a mess. We can straighten or clean your house as needed, or arrange for weekly housekeeping. We also can organize and de-clutter.
▣ Respite Care
We know how exhausting it is to care for a loved one. Everyone needs a vacation, and we can help. We are happy to give you a few hours, or a week or two vacation when you need it. You will be a better care-giver if you take time for yourself as well.
▣ Dementia and Alzheimer’s Care
This can be one of the most exhausting and time consuming jobs, as anyone who is caring for someone with dementia knows. Let us help you go through this process, we can definitely make it easier for you.
▣ End-of-Life Care
One of the hardest things to go through can be the last part of life, and having someone with experience in creating a peaceful, loving environment can make it just a little bit better. Again, it’s in the attention to the details, the little things that can make someone smile that really matter.
